This photoshoot had everything you could ask for! It had happened to snow the night before, so there was a beautiful blanket of white snow all around the downtown of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Wolfeboro has always been one of my favorite locations for any senior / portrait session. There is nothing like a classy old town, that has not only a lake, but also adorable coffee shops, and classic brick buildings.
If you're a senior who is looking for a winter
photoshoot, there are a few things I would recommend thinking about. Booking your session based on the weather is SO important! It makes all the difference between having a freezing cold session that you can't wait to be over, or a session that is actually enjoyable and fun! With New England weather, we all know that you can plan something weeks ahead, but when the date gets closer, the snow could be nowhere to be seen! This is why I usually book winter sessions with a back up date. This portrait session's date was one of those times where we worked around the weather. The temperature was around 32 degrees out. Thankfully there was also no wind chills being blown our way!

As we made out way around downtown Wolfeboro, I kept my eyes out for cute spots to pause and capture some more photos. Senior sessions can sometimes feel a bit repetitive, so looking for different backgrounds is a must! Another way to make senior / portrait sessions more fun, is to change out your outfit once or twice. I always love it when my clients bring along some different outfit choices. Even if you don't want to do an outfit change, it is ALWAYS a good idea to have some back-ups in the car waiting.

Notice how Haven's outfit changes make this feel like three totally different sessions?! Not to mention the change of the locations. This town has EVERYTHING for your next senior session! If you're looking for a local New Hampshire Portrait Photographer, I'd LOVE to capture your session as well! Much love,
